See award-winning author Christos Tsiolkas in our first live podcast at State Library Victoria.

Christos will give a short reading from his current work in progress, Damascus. He will also share his thoughts on the politics of writing.

The event will be held 6pm-7pm on World Book Day, 23 April 2018. Entry is free but bookings are required.

Christos Tsiolkas is a novelist, playwright and screenwriter.  His works include Loaded (which became the movie Head On), Dead Europe (which won the 2006 Age Fiction Prize and the 2006 Melbourne Best Writing Award), The Slap (which won the 2009 Commonwealth Writers Prize, was shortlisted for the 2009 Miles Franklin Literary Award, was longlisted for the 2010 Man Booker Prize) and Barracuda, which was adapted for television in 2016. He became Patron of Writers Victoria in 2017.
